ABOUT ABOUT

Honey and Sweetie are a pleasant, loving couple with a nice home and a beautiful life together. When a guest joins them for lemonade and small talk, years of illusions are uncovered in swift and hilarious fashion. Ruben Carrazana’s razor-sharp contemporary satire explores race, sex, and the artifice of intimacy in relationships.

Local playwright Ruben Carrazana makes his professional playwriting debut with this world premiere directed by Jeffery Moffitt and starringAlexandra Lawrence, Christopher Dontrell Piper, and Brian Wick. The production will feature original artwork from Jeremy Biggers that will be displayed and sold in the lobby through silent auction. Stacy Has A Thing For Black Guys is made possible through the generous support of the Oak Cliff Cultural Center and a Special Support Grant from the Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs.

Pay-What-You-Can tickets will be available at the door for the performance on Sunday, July 3rd.
